Student Male Ballet dancer required immediately
Male Ballet Dancer required to start rehearsing immediately for the role of Prince Phillip in Sleeping Beauty (ballet) for our show 31 March-3 April 2010
Kelli Dixon and husband Richard Norrington have a dancing school in Sunbury, Middlesex with approx 150 pupils, every 2 years we put on a show and the 2nd half is always a ballet. Male dancers are few and far between and our previous dancers have gone on to do bigger shows, this is a great opportunity as work experience and this role would suit a student in training or recently finished college, ideally age 16-20 although other ages would be considered. You will dance pas de deux and have solos and lots of other parts within your character. Rehearsals would take place Monday and Saturday and possibly 1 other day if needed, Aurora is at Intermediate standard and takes pas de deux lessons, most of the dances are already choreographed, all we need now is You!
