CALL TO ARTISTS

Join an eclectic dance adventure into boundless realms of movement and performance. If you express yourself with movement in innovative ways, Dance Expeditions WANTS YOU!

Dance Expeditions present a series of dance showcases giving access to artists bringing alternative approaches to dance expression. We are specifically looking to include artists (youth to seniors) whose dance focus fuses styles, or addresses issues relating to gender, body image, spirituality, politics, specific disabilities or any other element that represents diversity. The Call is open to amateur, professional and community artists.

2011/2012 - 8 Sundays
September 11, October 16, November 13, February 12, March 11, April 8, May 13, June 10

7pm. Doors Open at 6:30pm

Who
Solo/Duet (6 min max); Trios/Ensembles (8 min max)
Stage Dimensions: 20 feet x 15 feet
Tech Rehearsal - spacing only (5:30 - 6:30 pm)

Remuneration
Dependent upon box office revenue. Fee is not based on number of
performers.

The Dance Ontario Outreach Committee (Dave Wilson, Kate Nankervis,
Anjelica Scannura) reserves the right of selection based on a balance of applicant categories. Preference is given to, but not limited to Dance Ontario members.
