Pilot Plot - This is the story of MATT who is jumps at the chance to help his best friend STEVE propose to his long time girlfriend Jen in an extravagantly planned song and dance number but when they day arrives, all of MATTS old habits kick in and disaster is potentially around every corner but the two band together and are determined to reach their proposal destination and end the day with an engagement to remember.

SHOW PLOT - Matt is the hopeless romantic type of guy. Although, in his case, it is a little more hopeless than romantic. Still he tries his best to make it work and so when his best friend Steven asks him to help out with his proposal to his long time love Jen, Matt jumps at the chance. His heart is in the right place but for a struggling actor who has to work late nights as a caiter-waiter, he tends to get the little things wrong. Like waking up on time. Jen's best friend Steph is little bit on the posh side and disagrees with Matt with just about everything. She has a brother who completes the group who grew up together. Langston is a gifted musician who has absolutely no ambitions and is happy gliding through life. He has a string of girlfriends and his most recent ….. has taken their break-up to heart and enlisted the help of her cousin …. to persuade Langston to reconsider the relationship. Matt is an aspiring actor who tries his best to make it in the industry, but like his relationships, it doesn't really end up working out. Steven is a business graduate no looking to take the leap into full-time employment in an industry that is very competitive. Jen is the likeable girl-next-door type who has been making her way up the food chain at an up-and-coming boutique event management firm. Steph uses her posh nature in the fashion business and is desperately trying to create her own label. The group met in high school and have been helping each other through their educations and various other life experiences.
