Karen Hardy Studios are looking to recruit an experienced dance instructor

Skills / Qualifications / Experience Required:
Only professional, friendly person dedicated to dance should apply. Applicants should have an established international background in dance, minimum of 5 years Professional dance teaching experience is essential. We are looking for teachers with a significant amount of performance experience; the role will require showcase performances with other professionals, in groups, couples and with amateur clients. Currently competing applicants to the highest level would be desirable, empathetic to the rigours of our advanced clients. Competitive results will be taken into account for client selection. Ideally applicants would have worked in a Studio environment under the instruction of a Principal.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Teaching 20 minute introductory lessons, one hour private and group lessons
Completing Client Programmes in clear up-to-date detail
Liaise with clients at reception
Take bookings and enquiries
Sell gift experiences
Assist with events
Serve clients behind the licensed bar

The successful candidate will be a team player, enthusiastic, presentable, hold excellent communication skills, basic computing skills, supportive, professional and creative. The successful applicant must be able to follow direction. Own transport essential. They will also need to be fully CRB checked or willing to undergo a full criminal check. This is a mandatory government requirement when working with under 18s or vulnerable adults

Training to enhance and extend the dancers certifications will be provided.
