Performing Arts Academy in Manchester are expanding. I am looking for RELIABLE, TRUSTWORTHY Stage School Tutors to run singing, dancing and acting classes across Greater Manchester. Tutors will be provided with lesson plans, but must be able to take a class confidently and deal with any parent enquiries. Timekeeping is essential. All new staff must undertake an enhanced CRB check and will be responsible for arranging their own insurance.

Classes currently run in Prestwich and Whitefield but we are expanding to Stockport and Salford. Own transport isn't essential but is preferred.

Job responsibilities include:
Organising a class of children
Following and sometimes arranging a lesson plan
Dealing with parent/pupil enquiries
Handling cash, taking note of incoming and outgoing and reporting back to manager
Choreographing Dance Routines and teaching to class
Working on Songs/writing songs with children (full training provided)
Scriptwriting/Working on Improvisations and Scripts with the class (training provided)
Working towards an end of term Performance every term.
Providing Manager with notes of any queries so that we can update our database and get back to parents etc.

If you think you can do 90% of the above job description but you aren't a dancer for example, please still apply - not all classes cover everything!

Classes to start ASAP..This is a PART TIME job oppurtunity but depending on how well your classes go, we hope it can be made FULL TIME!
