Having an abortion is never an easy decision and many women who choose to end a pregnancy often do so because the timing and circumstances are wrong. Does this sound like you?

Perhaps you conceived when you were very young or studying at university. Perhaps you'd just embarked on a career and felt you could not support yourself and a child.

Or perhaps the father was only a casual relationship, a holiday romance or someone who was not going to stay around to be a good dad.

If you were childless when you had an abortion and remain childless now, I would love to hear from you.

Ideally, you chose to have an abortion believing you would become a mother at a later time with the man you would share your life with. But perhaps the time has never been right, you have never met the right man or you have a growing awareness that you have simply left it too late to try again. As a result, you may feel differently about the abortion you once had feeling it was your only chance. Or maybe you still feel it was right for you.

You must be willing to be named and pictured for the women's pages of a national newspaper or appear in a top UK women's magazine.
