The Miss CheerleaderGB competition is a brand new pageant and is the only cheerleading competition in Great Britain that provides access to a recognised international pageant – Miss Universe.
The winners of Miss CheerleaderGB will gain places at the final of Miss UniverseGB 2010 – The chance of a lifetime where the overall winner will go to the Miss Universe competition organised by Donald Trump.
At the same time, all participants in the Miss CheerleaderGB competition will have the chance to change the lives of children with terminal cancer. The official charity of these competitions is the children’s cancer charity, The Joshua Foundation.
To enter the Miss CheerleaderGB competition you must be over 18 years old on 30th April 2010 and must be a member of a recognised Cheerleading team/squad in Wales, England or Scotland. The competition will short-list the entrants leaving 50 girls per regional final per competition (Wales & West, South West, South East, Midlands, North West, North East and Scotland). From these regional finals 10 girls from each region will go through to the Final to be held in Cardiff in March 2010 where one girl will be crowned Miss CheerleaderGB 2010 and win a place in the Miss UniverseGB 2010 final!
The Winners will receive the following:
1. A place in the final of the Miss UniverseGB competition to be held in May 2010.
2. A Cash prize of £500
3. A trip to Lapland in December 2010
4. A trip to Australia in Summer 2010 as part of the Joshua Foundation’s Oz Experience as a team leader.
