The iconic MISS COMMONWEALTH represents world-wide philanthropy and community cohesion. It is a community Quality of Life improvement promotion pageant. It reigns supreme and prestigious in an international and elite class of its own. Miss Commonwealth is renowned, around the world, for its creativeness, innovativeness, uniqueness and for setting new stylish and moral standards for pageantry, all of which set it apart from all other pageants. Its queens are its promotional vehicles around the world.

In these regards, the pageant serves as a community empowerment platform for the professional social, economic and cultural confidence development of women of all ages.

THE PURPOSE of this contest is to select new Commonwealth International Cultural and Charity Queens and Ambassadors as role models for the pageant's community Quality of Life improvement aims and objectives, which are in better detail on the pageant’s website.

This is more than a beauty pageant. Therefore, apart from your beauty, if you think that you are passionate about charity and culture, we want to see you.

THIS SEARCH is for 162 national pageant finalists (representing the national Teen, Miss, and Mrs of 54 Commonwealth nations - see countries list on pageant's website).

They will compete, in the grand final contest, at the Commonwealth International Cultural and Charity Evening TV-Special Showcase (CICCETSS) in London, on 17 November 2012, for the most prestigious and priceless title crowns of:-

MISS TEEN COMMONWEALTH INTERNATIONAL 2012/13
MRS. COMMONWEALTH INTERNATIONAL 2012/13

OTHER TITLE CROWNS include:-
- Cultural Sector Crowns for: Africa, Asia-Pacific, Caribbean and Euro-Atlantic, eg: Miss Commonwealth Euro-Atlantic, etc.
- Commendation Awards Crowns: including, Miss Commonwealth Charity, Miss Commonwealth Culture, etc.

TITLE CROWN EXTENTIONS - a wide range exists to:-
i) enhance the promotion of wider community participation of eligible and capable Commonwealth ladies and
ii) thus, enhance and broaden the reach of the pageant's community benefits, internationally.

TITLE CONFIRMENT CEREMONY:
Titles are formally conferred upon the holders at the CICCETSS. Non-attendance at the ceremony invalidates pre-event awarded titles.

END OF TERM: At the end of a queen's year of reign, she continues to enjoy the pageant's perpetual support of her recognition as a queen. Also, subject to how exceptionally well she performed, or continues to perform, she may be granted the special reserve title of MISS COMMONWEALTH ETERNAL.

PRIZES AND AWARDS - Attractive prizes and awards await principal winners and runners-up and goody bags for other finalists, etc.

ENTRY CRITERIA:-

AGE:-
Teen - 16 to 19; Miss - from 20; Mrs - from 25; No upper age limits for the latter 2.

CHARACTER:-
No criminal record, Not wanted by the police.

MARITAL STATUS:-
Teen, Miss - must be single, never have been married, not be or have been a mother.
Mrs - must be married.

CITIZENSHIP:-

DECLARATION:-
