A high-energy uplifting guitar and keyboard-driven alternative rock/powerpop 4-piece band Degrees Rising is currently searching for a new experienced tight great bass player with a good solid sound that will cut through in our songs to create a new full band line up. Must be based in the London area, and be competent and able to pick up and learn songs and ideas fairly quickly, as well as being reliable and willing to commit to regular rehearsals and gigs (we usually rehearse in Clapham), and to have a genuine interest and enthusiasm for the band and our music, with the aim of doing some more shows soon. We have previously played gigs at well known venues on the London circuit such as The Dublin Castle, The Half Moon, The Underbelly, The Monto WaterRats and 93 Feet East.
