Composer needed for graduate short drama film - Stoke on Trent
Short Drama about feelings of guilt and loss and how people over come them
Casting no. 345756 Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom
|Casting complete Applications are now closed.
This project is for my final film in my final year at Staffordshire University studying Media (Film) Production.
The film will be a 5-10 minute short drama.
Chris is a young boy dealing with the feelings of loss and guilt he has over the recent death of his father. The film follows him as he goes about his daily routine. We see as he talks with his mum, Julie, about the amount of bills they have unpaid whilst he is driving. The conversation progresses towards pushing Chris to accept the situation, something Chris is not quite ready to do. He slams the brakes on and leaves the car. We see him arrive at a roadside memorial and he goes over to it. It is the memorial for Julie, and at this point we realise that the woman he was talking to in the car was just his guilt over the whole situation. We watch as he goes back to the car and continues the conversation with himself.
Successful applicants will receive a copy of the film on DVD (can arrange for Blu-Ray).
Location: Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom
