Semi-prof. singer who has written lyrics for several years seeks to work with a talented songwriter
Hi, I am a semi-professional singer who has written many completed works of lyrics.... I would call them songs, but don't have the music or technical skills of song-writing.
I am seeking to work with a talented songwriter who has the music/tunes, but not the voice or lyrics - so as co-songwriters, we would complete the song.
I am based in West London, so access to London is very good. Practically speaking, it would make sense to try to work with someone who lives in London, but it's the quality of the songwriting that is important!
My vocal style is rich and varied: I have a mezzo-soprano tone and range, and hailing from Northern Ireland, my tone can be quite celtic. As an experienced singer I sing a range of songs, so have a versatile voice - I particularly love Eva Cassidy - Singer/Songwriter music, and equally love to sing Soul, Motown, Rock and Pop.
The songs I listen to typically include Rock, Indie, folk etc. and my music collection is far reaching.
Ideally it would be great to hear an audio sample of your current songwriting works, but it is not necessary as we can meet to ascertain how well, as songwriters, we gel musically.
