Jemma Willard is a singer/songwriter from Reading, Berkshire. Throughout 2010 she headlined at venues including The Troubadour, The Reading Outside: Inside Festival, The Oakford Social Club and the BBC Introducing Stage. Her four track EP “Out of Reach” was released in October 2010 (available on iTunes).
Her voice has been described as “the spoonful of sugar you get when you have that bitter and melancholic medicine of folk rock - with a soul of classical influence you feel the warmth of every bar, just like an old fashioned radiator.”
In 2011 Jemma formed the band “Divanis” and took a break from performing to concentrate on writing her second studio album. The album, a blend of folk/rock, is due for release in 2012.
