Cirque du Soleil is seeking professional male and female instrumentalists with strong technique, stage presence and versatility for live performances in its current shows and upcoming creations. We will be hosting auditions in Portland, Oregon in July 2012
for:
Bandleaders
Keyboard instruments
Stringed instruments
Wind instruments
Percussion instruments
Multi-instrumentalists
Selected candidates will receive an email invitation containing all details about two weeks before the audition.

Please note that:
Cirque du Soleil will not pay for any expenses incurred by candidates attending this audition.
This audition is aimed at a specific area. Hence, we will only consider the profiles of candidates who currently live in Oregon, Idaho, Washington, British-Columbia and North California. If you do not currently live in this region, please click here to apply online; your profile will be evaluated and you might be considered for a future audition in your area.
This is a general audition for all roles in our current shows and upcoming creations. Candidates who successfully pass the audition will become part of our database of potential artists for future casting calls - we do not offer contracts at the audition.
Please note that your application may be considered for one or more roles in all our shows in performance and in creation.


All complete applications will be evaluated by a talent scout.

Qualifications
Professional and versatile musician;
Good stage experience;
Ability to sing an asset;
Strong improvisational skills;
Ability to merge a variety of genres and styles.
