I'm looking for musicians to partner with in a couple of different duos playing live in local restaurants, bars and other live venues in the East Midlands - starting in Newark and working out from there.

Music provided will be our own take on standards and covers with the aim of building a reputation in the local area. Style wise the aim is to please audiences we play to and whilst I love the louder rock music, we will take care in selecting our repertoire. There is a potential opportunity to play songs written for major artists but never released.

I am looking to rehearse through the summer to begin gigging from September onwards.

I offer keyboards and guitar (with own equipment and transport). You will offer an instrument - sax, voice, guitar, trumpet, etc. - that will complement this and create a sound live unit.

You will be positive, enthusiastic and professional in your outlook and looking at this as an opportunity to build your live CV and a stepping stone in your own music career.

I am 47 and looking for someone who is happy to work with an older musician. Age is not a barrier. If you are good enough you are old enough
