Twelve is a brand new initative that aims to give young, talented individuals the platform to express themselves, and consequently develop in their art - for free!

At twelve we are looking for twelve 16-24 year olds who are passionate about creating either Poetry, Rap or Music and performing it. Those who are interested will also commit themselves to twelve weeks of workshops at Harrow Arts Centre one every Monday from 6-8pm commencing on Monday the 3rd September. These workshops will be a space for self-expression and invention. Our requirement is that you are able to write your own original work. In this laid back and social environment we will feel confident enough to explore our pasts and take hold of our futures. Guests in different fields will be invited to the assist you in enriching your art. During these workshops a videographer will record you so you have a professional video to promote your talent and also to promote the talent that will be seen in our final showcase in December.

The final showcase will take place on Wednesday 5th of December in Vibe Bar's, "Vibe Live" venue in Brick Lane, who's stage has been graced by some of the UK's finest talent. You will be accompanied by a Special Guest performer (soon to be announced). This will be your opportunity to show a crowd of people including creatives, press and friends and family how passionate you are about what you do, and the quality of your gift.
