Come along as we follow the development of four Asian starlets-in-training as they pursue their goal of becoming successful actresses and models in the fashion and entertainment industry. A team of four starlets – with the help of professional guidance – will take a dynamic and difficult journey through the rough and sometime hash road that leads to success in the fashion and entertainment industry. Casting Cherry Blossom is the real behind-the-scene look at what it really takes to make it as an Asian actress or model in the esoteric world of fashion and entertainment. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project is a digital interactive documentary that documents the talent development of four Asian model/actresses as they undergo a stunning transformation within the course of eight weeks. The project will take four Asian starlets and provide them with all of the tools needed to become working professionals in the fashion and entertainment industry. The ultimate aim of the project is to measure the level of success that can be achieved when a small group of aspiring starlets are provided access to promotional support and guidance by industry professionals. BREAKDOWN: Asian Female 18 - 26 years old with a natural affinity for the craft of acting or modeling. Candidates must possess the potential for development and growth. The proper candidates will approach the project as an opportunity to magnify their existing potential and develop it into something well-polished and marketable. The candidates must be fast learners, open-minded, take directions well and can commit to being available -- at minimum -- twice a week for eight (8) weeks. Furthermore, the ideal candidates should be willing to submit to a complete makeover including hair, makeup and wardrobe.
