Kaleidoscope, formed in 2010, is a Fashion event Management Company, that organizes fashion shows for gives upcoming/new designers and models.
In the past, we have done a number of fashion shows like Little Black Dress 1, Fashion For Quake, Miss & Master Teen India NZ and recently Little Black Dress 2, which scored a 10/10 on The A List website.
We believe that although NZ being a decent market for fashion, there aren’t any Fashion Shows for new designers or models wanting to enter the fashion industry. Kaleidoscope gives them an opportunity to display their creations, giving them valued experience and an added benefit on their curriculum vitae once they enter the industry.
Being involved in this industry for a while both locally and internationally, we also understand the need for experienced models for high profile fashion shows. Kaleidoscope gives new/inexperienced models an opportunity to explore the fashion industry and get trained to be picked for high profile fashion shows.
Hence we have ongoing fashion shows throughout the year for every season, which will give designers an opportunity to launch their new lines with Kaleidoscope
Candy Land Fashion Show
What is it?
Candy Land, similar to Little Black Dress 2, is an opportunity for new/upcoming designers and new models to display their creativity, thus adding valued experience for their bright future. As the name suggests, this is a Candy Land themed fashion show, hence will involve props like candy cane, bubbles, etc. This show will also have live performances by some artists, giving it a bit of an extra twist.
We are looking for new designers who would would be interested in getting their name out in the New Zealand fashion industry.
25th August 2012
Please note: there are other similar ongoing events throughout the year.
What do designers get?
The designers get an opportunity to display their creations on a national level. Each designer will be allowed to display a maximum of 10 looks per routine.
Kaleidoscope runs the whole event, including, advertising, marketing, publicity, etc.
We also associate with local celebrities/TV personalities, who will be attending the show, either walking the ramp or as guests. There will be media (photographers, fashion magazine editors, fashion reporters), giving the designers and models good exposure.
