Artists required for 'Iconic' photography project - London

Casting complete. Applications are now closed.

The 'Iconic' project is a series of recreated Iconic photographs featuring disabled models. It will feature, among others, recreated images of Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Jim Morrison and Muhammed Ali. I am looking for disabled models to feature in the photographs, as well as hair, make-up and stylists.

The recreations must be produced as closely to the original as possible in all details, so for each shoot I need a hair and make up artist (one of each) and a stylist to source costumes and accurately recreate looks. A positive attitude and enthusiasm are more important than bags of experience.

The project aims to challenge the media's current stereotypes relating to glamour and its resulting perceived human value and will culminate in a touring exhibition.

This is a collaborative project where all artists involved will receive a DVD of images for their portfolio and their names listed in the project's accompanying book and all other relevant publicity relating to the project. I will pay £10 expenses per person per shoot. Food and drink is provided on set.
