We are casting families with big, matter-of-fact, down-to-earth personalities, who have been forced by the recession to combine more than the traditional parents and children under one roof. We intend to explore the drawbacks and benefits of living with grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, adult children, grandchildren ... family.
If you've come of age during this economic downturn, and now face the prospect of sharing space with an elderly relative or moving your own small children in with your parents, you are the perfect candidate for our show. College graduates in debt, laid-off workers with young families, teens forced to bunk with a grandmother – you all have compelling, relevant stories to tell. This situation is new and somewhat foreign to you – the frustrations and obstacles aroused by multi-generational housing are as natural as the feelings of togetherness and support.
Whether you attempt to mesh with all family members, or whether you wrestle for independence, you are dealing with a unique, timely issue, and we would love to meet you.
