| StarNow: | Can you tell us about yourself? How did you get started in the entertainment industry? | | Mark: | My interest started when I was 4 years old. I had a magician for my birthday party – and I've been hooked since. My interest continued through school days but by the age of 9, I decided to stop the Magic as it didn’t seem the "cool" thing to do. I started again when I went up to secondary school aged 11, when I discovered my music teacher used to be a Magician on the cruise ships. He used to show me tricks all the time and that convinced me to start doing Magic again – he also persuaded me to become a Drummer as well, which I play at quite a high standard now. If it wasn’t for his help and support even to this day, then I don't think I would be the success I am now. |
| StarNow: | Why did you decide to enter the UK Talent Search? | | Mark: | To be honest, I never really had any intention of entering! I saw that loads of different talents were entering the competition and didn't think I would stand a chance. I only decided to enter on the last day of registration in a moment of madness! I'm very glad I did enter now though!! |
