I am directing and starring in a film I have written myself, and require serious actors
I am directing and starring in a film I have written myself. I am looking for actors who are serious minded, reliable, not necessarily experienced.
I'm not offering cash for these parts - it's a very low budget affair. However, if you've been working with me all day and giving up your time for free, I'm the kind of person who would take everyone out for drinks/dinner, etc, as a form of gratitude.
I have already cast a few parts - the chief part I am looking for is a female lead, 20s to play a newly qualified lawyer. I am also casting other parts for both men and women, and I will guarantee a reply to all e-mails sent to me with pictures.
Filming may take place in weekends, evenings, etc. It is essential that you are as flexible as possible. Some of the actors due to be working on this project have full time jobs so the likelihood of weekday daytime filming is fairly low.
I live in London, as I would recommend anybody answering this to also do, just for convenience. I will start meeting people around January 2008. Filming is scheduled to begin in summer, exact dates tbc.
