Alligator Theatre require actors/actresses for their winter schools tour 2008

Call for submissions. Auditions 6th November 2008.
This Winter Alligator Theatre will be touring ‘Robin Hood - A Very Merry Tale' to primary schools across the country from 1st - 19th December 2008 with intensive rehearsals starting in the week commencing 24th November 2008.
The traditional English story of Robin Hood is given a comical slant in this retelling of the good versus evil, rich versus poor, struggle of Robin Hood and his merry band against the iron grip of the Sheriff of Nottingham and King John over the peasants. The show is performed in a pantomime style and includes songs.
All actors/Actresses must be enthusiastic and dependable. Above all good ensemble/team players. Good character actors with some singing ability and excellent movement skills; some dance ability an advantage but not essential. Must be prepared for the early mornings and a rigorous touring schedule. Especially keen to hear from people who can drive the van. Actors will be expected to perform get ins and get outs and work as a team.
All Actors will be Muti-Role performers.
Submissions invited. Home Counties preferred as rehearsals and auditions will take place in Berkshire, but all applications will be considered.
