Nets Kids Dance Team open call on August 9
Nets Basketball is casting the Nets Kids Dance Team for the 2008-09 season. The Nets Kids perform at home NBA basketball games at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ and represent the Nets on television, in print media, and at events throughout the NY metropolitan area. Directors: Petra Pope and Kimberlee Garris
Auditions will be held August 9 beginning at 11 a.m. at the Nets Practice Facility, NJ. Registration begins at 10:30am. Please note: A parent or legal guardian must be present to sign a participation waiver. If a parent cannot attend, please contact to receive the form in advance.

Dancers
Any gender, aged 6 to 13 from the United States
Boys and girls with at least two years of technical dance training. Dancers will be asked to demonstrate their ability to learn and perform choreography. Tumbling and break-dancing skills are a plus, but not required. Wear dance attire and non-marking sneakers or dance shoes.
