Judges Directive
The Kent Dance Challenge is different from festivals and such events. We bring all styles of dance together from Latin American to Lyrical and Hip Hop.
Just to give you an example,
2007
1st place in the 14’s and over was Latin.
1st place in the 13’s and under was Street Jazz
2006
1st place in the 14’s and over was Irish Dancing.
1st place in the 13’s and under was Street Jazz

Entertainment Value
Stage Presence
Timing
Choreography
Costumes
Presentation
Personality
Facial expressions
(In keeping with the style of music chosen)
