The New Zealand National Finals will be held on December 13, 2008. You must be available to come to Auckland for the weekend of December 11-13th for the competition.
Unlike other beauty pageants, There is no maximum age, and no marital limits (eg you are allowed to have children and be married) for this pageant. There is also no minimum height requirement.
Prize Categories include:
-Miss Hawaiian Tropic New Zealand 2009
-Miss Hawaiian Tropic New Zealand 2009 first runner up
-Miss Hawaiian Tropic New Zealand second runner up
-Congeniality prize
-Dream body award
-Miss Photogenic:
-Best in Evening Wear
Contestants currently must apply for direct entry- The entry cost ($1500.00 + G.S.T) will need to be covered by a sponsor, but will include:
-Food for the duration of the competition
-Flights to Auckland* for the Grand final
-Accommodation at the Grand final
-A Spray tan for Grand final night
-A Sash with your sponsors name
-Your sponsor will receive advertising for the duration of the competition.
If your application through StarNow is successful, we will send you entry forms and a sponsorship proposal to help you find a sponsor.
The New Zealand winner will receive an all expenses paid trip worth $5000 to the Miss Hawaiian Tropic world finals in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Other prizes for the New Zealand finals are currently being negotiated.
During the winners stay in Las Vegas, USA she will be part of an unforgettable week packed with fun and excitement! Lavish dinner parties, press appearances, filming of TV specials and Luau parties.
Please note that because of high demand, contestants will only be accepted into the grand final when they secure a sponsor.
