The search is on for Miss Philippines Earth 2008
Criteria:

Female, between 18 years old and 25 years old (during the reigning period)
Never been married nor given birth
Has Filipino ancestry (100% Filipino or Half Filipino/ Eurasian)
Minimum height of 5’5
Beauty of face & figure
High School Certificate
Must be of good moral character
Has an appreciation of environmental issues
Willing to stay in the Philippines during the duration of the pageant. If declared as one of the winners, she has to fulfill her duties in the Philippines to do environmental projects during her reign.
The CONTESTANT from Australia will travel to the Philippines for the regional competition to compete for the Miss Philippines Earth title. Carousel Productions is searching for a true Filipina/Australian who cares for and helps in the preservation of the environment. Miss Philippines Earth winner will then join the International Miss Earth competition in October 2008.
The enthusiasm for the search for Miss Earth Philippines 2008 is now high with the success of the Miss Earth 2007 presentation that was aired live in The Filipino Channel.
Now more young Filipina aspirants from different Filipino communities abroad are aiming to join the said national competition and have the opportunity to compete in the Philippines. Carousel Productions Inc. is now extending its search, not only region wide but worldwide, particularly in the US, Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Japan, Singapore and New Zealand. The global search would thereby increase the chances of getting more qualified and candidates vying for the MISS PHILIPPINES EARTH title.
The winner will get cash, non cash prizes and a return trip to the Philippines in May 2008.
