UK Beauties is the largest and most comprehensive website for beauty contests held in the UK, for men and women.
UK Beauties is the premier source of information and inspiration for aspiring models, providing everything you need to know about beauty contests held in the UK, with specific information on all the current winners, prizes, entry requirements, what international contests the winners attend, and how to enter.
We are currently looking for UK contestants to represent the UK in international pageants throughout 2008 and 2009. Our next upcoming pageant is as follows:
Competition: Miss Young International 2008
Date: 10th - 30th October 2008
Venue: Taiwan ROC
Requirements:
- Never been married or given birth to a child;
- Natural Born Female;
- Minimum height of 170cm;
- Attractive face and body;
- Good moral character;
- Never posed nude or appeared topless in any magazine, video or otherwise;
- A UK citizen.
Once you arrive in Taiwan, all accommodation, meals, transport, sight seeing and activities will be paid for. The only costs you need to cover are your flight to Taiwan and a £350 franchise fee, which must be made payable to UK Beauties limited.
Once accepted, you will hold a UK title recognised by the Miss Young International Organisation, for example Miss Scotland Young International, for the period of one year. You may use this title in any way you see fit, to promote yourself, or as a platform to advance your modelling career.
To be in with a chance of representing the UK at this prestigious pageant, you must become a UK Beauties member. Members receive advice on what contests to enter, agencies, and how to get started in pageants and modelling. Advice includes everything from styling tips, makeup application techniques, wardrobe and accessory choices, to answering on stage questions and posing, to getting work, making the most of the media, and getting well known.
