Exciting opportunity to become part of a band riding on the momentum from the revival of Swing and Jazz music.
My name is Paul Hayman, I am a Jazz vocalist working professionally in and around South East Queensland. As a career professional I have Management and Booking Agency backing. Currently I work with a range of seasoned musicians on a casual basis.
Its time to put a stable line up together. One that "clicks" and that will take all those involved on to the next level of this business.
Currently I have business partners interested in assisting to further develop my career, the hot prospects I have in store mean that a formidable line up of musicians is required.
Potential National and International touring is highly likely, therefore the you will need to have no problems with being away from home, loved ones, etc. This is not really the gig for "weekend warriors".
I have local gigs lined up awaiting the right group, so there is the opportunity of 'bread and butter' gigs whilst spending time piecing together the main show.
Most importantly, I want to put together a group of musicians who are able to compliment each other, who have their own individuality that collectively produce an exciting and unique group.
Musically, the repertoire is very much influenced by Jazz and swing. As I am also a recognised songwriter I envisage that ultimately each band members influences will eventually see us develop our own style and ultimately collaboration of original material for commercial sale.
