lyricist looking for a musician who can set her lyrics to music
I am a lyricist. I do not play an instrument and I do not write music. I’m looking for someone who would be interested in working on a 50/50 basis, each of our names registered for © purposes.
I’m not strictly looking for someone who lives in Australia (Sydney). Anywhere worldwide is fine – we can collaborate online. I’m interested in someone who can set my lyrics to music. You will have your own equipment or instrument (preferably equipment) to make the music.
I have no affiliations with record labels, producers, publishers or agents. I’m looking to collaborate on a 50/50 deal so we can make a demo and send it to labels on behalf of each of us (that way we can double the amount of record labels we approach).
I’m after a co-writer who can produce top quality music to my already written lyrics.
My genre is pop/dance - keep it sweet, simple yet inspirational. I am looking to get my vocal talent, lyrics and writing ideals into the market and I need someone who is either already somewhat established and would consider a 50/50 deal or someone who, whilst unknown, is serious and wants to get their music out there too.
This is something I’ve wanted to try and accomplish for a long time so please take that chance with me so that we can make something happen.

For the record (!!) my long-term artist goals include record deal, publishing, film/television placement opportunities, radio campaigns, etc. Artist age range – 23. I’m currently employed so I can really only collaborate evenings and weekends (AEST).
My Musical genre is pop (keep it sweet and simple) – I’m looking to make inspirational tracks like the lady in lace herself, Madonna. I’m looking for demo quality (preferably professional studio or pro tools home studio, but basic home studio is OK).
