Venue to be agreed but will be near to Bewdley, Kidderminster, Worcestershire.
Date to be finalised but expected to be in October 2008, weekend evening. Purely Musicals was the first UK based talent show for theatre lovers. All applicants will be screened and shortlisted initially, if successful a non-refundable £10 payment will be required for entry.
Cash prizes, trophies and follow up critique as well as free web space for all applicants on our web site. There will be age categories and the contest is open to any solo vocalist, or duo within the UK.
You are expected to perform two songs: one Ballad and One uptempo. This is a fantastic opportunity to show off your love of musical theatre. No matter what age you are everyone is judged equally. No matter what level of experience the team consider your need to quell nerves if this is new to you.
We particularly welcome people with no experience as the show is great for those just setting out on a musical career. Limited spaces. Preference on song choice will be given to the early applicant.
