| About me: | | Hi, my name is Kasey Farmer and I am 19. I am from London Ontario but I am currently living in Toronto during the fall/winter school terms.
I am very adventurous, dedicated, and always strive for the best. I love to try new things, and really challenge myself. I dance, figure skate, and swim. I also teach children and adults dance, skating and swimming. I have also been in a couple of fashion shows for various clothing lines, and was recently a dancer in a fashion show. I love performing more than anything, and I love working with children. I am interested in performing in anyway even if it's not dancing. |

Dancing experience

Most of my life has been spent in Laurie-Ann's school of Dance in London, Ontario but I am currently in my second year of the BFA dance program at York University. I have been dancing for 16 years, and competively for 11. I take jazz, tap, ballet, modern, lyrical, hip hop, pointe, and I used to do celtic. I have been teaching and assisting 3 year olds to adults for 8 years. For the past three years I was a member of the Canadian National Tap Team that competed at World's and has won for the past five years in Riesa, Germany. In 2004 I was a guest performer in "The Lion King" aboard Celebrity Cruise Lines. I got to represent Canada at Knotsberry Farm in California and Disneyland California. I was also a dancer in the opening ceremonies of the Canada Games, and was a performer in the London International Children's Festival. I was also in a Christmas dance show in Buffalo, New York with the Rapa/Clarke Dance Academy. I achieved the highest overall grade 12 dance mark in highschool, and most promising dancer from my dance studio. I have been very lucky to attend classes and workshops with many well known dancers such as members of Tap Dogs, and several well respected choreographers at Dance Excellence in California. I was chosen to attend BATD scholarships in Toronto and ended up in the top 8 of Canadian tap dancers. I have been very lucky to be able to travel so much already and achieve many awards and examination levels including my BATD teachers certificate. Along with teaching dance at Laurie-Ann's, I taught for her dance summer camp, and the University of Western Ontario's summer dance camp as well. At my highschool dance shows and musicals I have helped to choreograph, do costuming and lighting, and I was the dance club instructor for several local elementary schools. I can't wait to add more exciting experiences to my list:)
