I am an experienced film score composer and have written works for film, radio, and musicals. This year one film I wrote the score for was a finalist in a film festival, NZ Tropfest 2013. The film being shown on the Rialto Channel. My works have been entered for international competitions, including the Brandenburg Symphony Orchestra Composition Competition. In March 2013 I was a finalist in the Australia and New Zealand Viola Society Composition Competition. This year I completed my first original symphony, a piano concerto, and 2 other works for full orchestra, as well as several chamber group compositions and a few piano works. I am currently working on an orchestral suite called 'The Beginning of Life'.

In 2009 and 2010 I was musical director for St Pauls Church choir and orchestra for 'Glow' Christmas event, with an audience of 10,000 people, at Vector Arena, Auckland. I arranged the vocals for this event and created original parts for brass, strings and woodwind. I arranged choral parts for the 2011 and 2012 events.

I am currently arranging for Australian choir 'Low Rez' and my work has been labelled 'exceptional' by their director. I have been writing music for many years, and have been musical director for various productions in the UK at the University of Liverpool, including 'the Little Shop of Horrors', 'Return to the Forbidden Planet', and 'Guys and Dolls'. I re-wrote the original score for Little Shop and am also experienced in arranging music for orchestra. I have produced and recorded music for a short film for a charity in the UK.

I currently play keys in rock band 'FLK', doing various gigs around Auckland. I am also an experienced Jazz/swing performer, having played in various clubs in Liverpool including the infamous 'Magnet', and also at Wallasey Town Hall, the same stage where the Beatles once played.

I have extensive orchestral and classical experience as well as big band, and play piano, french horn, trumpet and guitar. I have been Principal horn player for many years in a number of orchestras and groups in the UK.
