Acting experience

Although I have no formal acting qualifications, as a musician (Drummer), I am used to performing in front of a live audience and have the ability to pick things up quickly. I would welcome the opportunity to further develop my performance skills and progress into the dramatic arts and would be willing to attend any acting/drama workshops where necessary.

Music experience

I have been playing Drums (main instrument), since the early 80's and am mostly self-taught. I am an enthusiastic drummer--always willing to learn and develop new grooves.
I first learned to play Rhythm Guitar in the late 70's--whilst playing percussion with a reggae band named 'Tribesman'-. Moreover, I picked up Bass, Keyboards and Some Vocals over the years.
Between the mid 80's and late 90's I was not only playing in bands, I was also setting up and running youth-oriented music workshops and working with young and elderly disabled people--using percussion therapeutically to aid and encourage gentle exercise-.
I have a keen interest in music arrangement, production and performance and try to keep abreast of some of the latest gadgetry.
Other interests include; playing table tennis and visiting the gym now and then. Additionally, I have an interest in PaleoAnthropology.

Entertaining experience

My entertainment experience stems from playing in bands such as rock band Otis Waygood in the late 1970's--who initially hired me as a 'roadie' and who later gave me my first chance at playing to a live audience-, and jazz-inspired reggae band 'Tribesman'--mentioned above-, from the late '70's to mid '80's.
Additionally, I have played in numerous un-named college and university bands during my time at college and university (1997-2002).
Other bands include reggae band Neutral Ground from the mid to late 90's and 'Goth'-inspired rock band 'NED'--with whom I am still a member-, from the late 90's to the present time.
Moreover, I am also a current member of recently-formed jazz, blues and scar-inspired funk band 'The Mordelics'.
