I love watching and playing live music, snowboarding, almost all sports and music. I play in a covers band (weddings etc) but am looking to play more gigs and I DJ (usually with the covers band)...music is a big passion of mine. I love learning and writing new songs and would love to be playing live music more often. I would be interested in an originals rock/pop/indie/dunk band if a suitably talented, enthusiastic and professional approached band/individual(s) came along.

I am currently a bass player in an experienced covers band (www.jackinthejukebox.com) and am looking to play more live music. We play a huge variety of covers that get people dancing/jumping e.g. James Brown, Kaiser Chiefs, Guns N Roses, Jackson 5, The Monkees, The Beatles, The Killers, Scissor Sisters, Stevie Wonder, Black Cherry, Queen + many more.

I started playing electric guitar 17 years ago having private lessons and jamming with friends. Over the next 8 years I wrote/learnt a variety of music on guitar (and bass) and began to perfrom at a variety of occasions. I then formed a couple of bands while at university and in my 3rd year joined an original rock band called 'From The Third Story'. The singer left and we changed name and played a mixture of classic rock/metal as 'Duty Paid'. Up to this point I was playing the electric guitar.

More recently (5 years ago) I started a covers band with the friends I first played music with. I volunteered to play bass rather than guitar and would definitely class myself as a bassist now after the extensive gigging/practicing experiences we've had.

We then lost the drummer when he got married and reformed as Jack In The Jukebox and regularly play weddings and function gigs, but I would happily gig more regularly with another band and would definitely be interested in revisiting orginials with the right band mates. I pride myself on learning the songs exactly and try and play them as per the record, as a starting point anyway...same is true of my bass tone/effects. I like the professional look and approach to gigging and hope to join additional bands who have same view.

I play a Warwick Streamer CT 5-string bass with a low B, through a Gallien-Kruger 1001RB head in to a 15" Gallien-Kruger 700W bass cab using a Bass Pod Pro XT - with full foot pedal.
