I am a 20 year old self taught singer/songwriter from Melbourne. I have been singing and writing songs since I was very young. Writing, singing and performing is my passion. I am currently working on releasing my first EP which was recently completed, and performing gigs around Melbourne. In the near future I am looking to explore my love of writing further through collaborating with other musicians and performing either in a band or as a solo artist!

Music has played a large role in my life since I was very young. As a child, my father, being a musician himself, introduced me to various styles of music and the concept of songwriting.
At the age of 12 I began writing my own original songs. Over my teenage years, I have developed my own style and In 2010 I started writing my first EP which I have recently completed and am about to release in the coming months.
Last year I began doing live performances of my music which lead me to take part in the Pie Jam music event across Melbourne CBD hosted by Nova, Pieface and Inpress magazine.
I won the event by gaining the highest number of online votes and was able to take away some cool recording prizes, and the opportunity to do a feature article in Inpress Magazine. More recently, I played in another unsigned competition held by Melbourne Fresh, and after two heats I was chosen to play in the grandfinal, where I won another recording prize and a festival gig opportunity. These competitions have been great experiences for me to not only build myself as a singer/songwriter, but also a performer. I am currently studying Music Business so that I can further develop my skills and knowledge of the Industry, to gain a better understanding as an artist. At the moment I am currently seeking new opportunities to get my original music heard, and also find other musicians to collaborate with. I am very excited for all of the new and exciting music opportunities arising for me now and in the future.
