The International Songwriting Competition (ISC), in partnership with StarNow, is now accepting entries for 2010.
The International Songwriting Competition (ISC) is now accepting entries for the 2010 competition. Now is your chance to enter what the NY Times calls “the competition to take note of” with $150,000 (US) in cash and prizes - including $25,000 (US) cash for the Grand Prize winner alone and the best judges for any songwriting competition in the world.
ISC is a great opportunity for songwriters, musicians, and performers to win cash and prizes, further their music careers, and gain recognition and exposure in the music industry.

StarNow would like to congratulate our 1.5 millionth member, Melissa Woodbridge. In recognition we have awarded Melissa with a professional headshot package with Jom Photography and an acting course at NIDA. With over 1000 jobs and auditions placed on StarNow each week it’s an exciting time to be a member. We wish Melissa all the best with her carer in performing arts. An acting course and great headshot will help her on her way to being discovered.

The winner for Best Actor award at The Angry Film Festival in Melbourne was Pier Carthew for his role in the short film Chequered Paint. The film follows a routine speeding infringement which quickly escalates out of control for a rookie cop.
Karl Beattie wins Best Actor Award at the Warrambeen Film Festival!
Karl won the award for his role in the academy award nominated short film, Miracle Fish. Karl is 8 years old and has been dancing and acting for four years. He loves pro wrestling and watching cartoons such as X-men and Tom and Jerry. Karl has appeared in Wolverine (April 2009), Accidents Happen (May 2009) and the telemovie Scorched. He is the host of “All For Kids” - a television show for pre schoolers shown on channel 7 in Sydney, Australia. He is in Year 3 and hopes to be an actor when he grows up. He has an older sister and brother who also act and dance.

Jace will attend the next workshop in Sydney on the 10th and 11th of April and Francisca will attend a future course on her return from overseas.
