It's always great when our own members win the top prizes, so we were pleased to hear StarNow member Gary Boulter had taken away The Best Actor Award at the Sydney 48 Hour Film Project. The StarNow team are super proud and no we didn't judge the awards so the decision wasn't biased at all!

CineZoo presents Jason and Matt Stutter

15 Nov 2010
What on Earth is CineZoo?

CineZoo is a monthly event in which filmmakers meet with other filmmakers to be inspired. CineZoo hosts professional filmmakers who are out there doing what they do best, and puts them together with those who want to learn more about the filmmaking process. CineZoo provides a forum for filmmakers to learn, be inspired and supported. It is also a showcase of the latest talent, gadgets and happenings within the Wellington film community. Beyond the event itself is a website, blog and forum in which filmmakers can continue to share and discuss all things film! CineZoo aims to be the future of Wellington's film community.

Our First Event

We are proud to be hosting Matt and Jason Stutter on the 22nd of November at the Paramount Theatre in Wellington city. The two brothers have been making films for years, Jason directing and Matt based primarily in sound engineering. Jason has just recently released his feature film, Predicament starring internationally acclaimed comedian Jemaine Clement. Jason is also known for his successful shorts such as "Be Careful With That Axe". This CineZoo event will cut past all the bs that filmmaking often has caught up with it and get to the heart of just getting out there and making films. This is going to be a great 1st event for CineZoo, and will kick off the future of Wellington's film community meet ups. Be in at the start of something great, and join us on the 22nd of November!
