This was Khanhs answer to the question 'What drives you to pursue a career as an actor?'
"If acting work came as a hamburger at 'McDonalds' I'd be customer of the month every month. I'd be the opposite of that 'Subway' fat guy and end up on 'The Biggest Loser' because I'm always hungry for acting. Hey, I might do that..." Khanh Trieu
Congratulations Khanh, we wish you all the best with your career in acting and hope the showreel package is a big help. Check out

Thanks to the 100 odd members and film makers that attended our first Actors 101 event. There were some amazing speakers and everyone came away feeling inspired. Some of the main points that came out of the evening are below:
- Your headshot is extremely important. It needs to be up to date and it needs to look like you!
- What makes you different? Find your point of difference.
- Learn your lines, prepare for an audition and realise that once it's done it's out of your hands. There are a million reasons why you might not be chosen or why you were wrong for the role. Don't beat yourself up, reflect on what you did, decide what you will do differently next time and move on.
- Your ID is very important, stand with your feet hip width apart and be friendly and polite.
- Ask yourself why you want to act? You need to know the answer to this and to believe in yourself and your passion.
- Get an agent and make sure you turn up to auditions.
- Never call the casting company or production company directly, always go through your agent. That is their job!
- Don't give up. Even if your family tell you to, you keep missing out on roles and all you're doing is unpaid work. If you really want this, then keep going and be the best you can be.
