'Base Mosquito' produces the ultimate in original, cutting edge material, crossing over a number of genres; Electronica, House, Fusion, Tech Funk, Big Beat, Trip Dub Hop and Experimental. There are two core team members (Production: Ret Alex and PR: Jules) but they keenly feature various young, up and coming London Artistes in the form of rappers, vocalists and musicians. Base Mosquito was founded by Ret Alex and born in 2008 from a serious passion, dedication and hard graft. Apart from his usual DJ setup he also uses additional performers to expand to a 6 piece live, electronic band (depending on the venue and nature of the event). Base Mosquito have had extensive exposure performing all over the UK and had the pleasure of playing regularly at some of London's more prestigious venues, notably; Scala Kings Cross, Club Warehouse and Area in Vauxhall.
