I have been playing drums now for 18 years. I currently play guitar in my own band Upcdownc who formed in 2000. We have released three albums since and have played numerous gigs in and around the UK and Europe as well as many hours spent in recording studios. As well as drums, I am a very competent musician and can also play guitar, keys, bass, banjo, vocals, ukele, sitar as well as experimenting with theremin and synthesizers. I have extensive experience in recording in both analogue and digital. Although I can play quite a few instruments I am primarily a drummer. My style is rooted in the rock genre along the same lines as hard-hitting drummers such as John Bonham, Jimmy Chamberlin and Dave Grohl but (see cd) I am very versatile when playing in other styles such as Latin, Hip-Hop/Funk and Jazz.
