My name is Katherine, I'm from the South West of England and have been living in Australia for almost 5 years now. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Business majoring in Hotel Management at Griffith University, as well as working full time on the Gold Coast. I work hard to reach my goals and try my best to inspire and help others to be the best that they can be and to achieve their dreams. From the age of 11 I have practiced traditional Shotokan Karate. I was awarded my black belt when i was 13 and went on to compete internationally. I owe my positive attitude and independence to my Mum. I was a busy teen competing in many different sports at a high level and simply could not have done it without her. As a single mum, she always supported me and pushed me forward to achieve everything that I wanted in life. She is my inspiration and I only hope that one day my children can say the same about me.
