D Goody’s versatility on the keyboard made it possible for performances on stages such as Mercury Prize Awards, Jazz Cafe, various theatre productions in and out of London, and events such as Wired, Cordless Show and I Luv Live. He has performed with talented artists such as Lee John (Imagination), Alexandra Burke, Melissa Bell (Soul to Soul), Ruby Turner, Ella Chi and he is currently musical director for the upcoming rapper, AKS (Midas Touch).
Soon after D Goody formed his own company called Mindscope Entertainment, and moved into a commercial studio premises, where he musically bonded with talent artists such as Rahgav, Pluto and Alexandra Burke, whilst working alongside DJ’s such as Emma Feline.
The understanding of music from his background, enabled D Goody to work with a vast number of genres:- RnB, Hip Hop, Indie Rock, Reggae, 2 Step, Drum ‘n Bass and Dance and many more…
D Goody has credits on the Mercury Award Winning album ‘Speech Therapy’ by Speech Debelle, has also written and produced songs with new UK talent such as Jessie J and Ella Chi. Co-produced the ‘Next’ advert song, ‘Mas Que Nada’ for Ava Leigh.
Currently, D Goody is working with Coree Richards (Damage) as well as Hitman Hyper (N.A.S.T.Y. Crew) and involved in scoring music for a puppet musical play for children, which will be released on DVD in 2011.
In this time, D Goody has established partnerships with experienced musical characters in his own calibre and beyond, such as engineers who have worked with Eric Clapton and Skunk Anansie as well talented Damage songwriter Roachie, and legendary bass player Winston Blissett by his side.
D Goody not only works with signed talent, he also has the eye for working with upcoming artists. In the future he hopes to develop a production house and programmes, where talented individuals in music, have an opportunity to establish a career in music.
