I dont have any proffesional experiance, although i have sang in local competitions and won! I have sung at weddings and family parties i know i have the voice just need a band/production team to take me on and give me this chance to sing. my first talent competition was when i was 10 years old and i won back then i played a steel pan so i won playing this and singing,i was in a steel pan orchestra from 9 until my family moved me from london and it was to far to travel at my young age for rehearsals so had to unfortunately give this up. I was devastated it was more my mothers choice i was so passionate about my music! So instead i carried on singing winning another local teen competition at 14 singing black velvet by alannah myles! (1 of my favourite songs) as i grew older i became a mother and devoted a lot of my time to this so my singing went on the back burner for some years although its still been a great passion of mine, that i always wanted to come back to when the time was right. More recently iv been singing in bars and clubs, karaoke social clubs and last year i sang at my cousins wedding. This year im singing for my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary and my brothers wedding in august although these are family events i am constantly asked to perform for people as ive been told that my voice is brilliant! Since i wrote this i did join a band have done lots of studio rehearsal time but sadly band split due to drummer and bass leaving, i was so dissappointed i absolutely loved the experiance and being in a band im determined to carry on this is something i can definately do and see myself doing for a long time.....
