| I am the singer and saxophonist with a jazz quartet called The Blue Notes.
The Blue Notes is a traditional jazz quartet comprising some of Britain’s finest young jazz players. The band was established in 2008 when the musicians started playing together for the National Youth Jazz Orchestra. Regardless of your musical tastes, The Blue Notes will entertain any audience at any occasion, with a selection of jazz standards and Rat Pack vocal numbers.
Edward himself was originally from Leicester and is currently lead alto saxophonist with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, having previously been principal saxophonist with the National Youth Orchestra. He is
also an accomplished vocalist, clarinettist and pianist and in 2006 he graduated from the University of Nottingham with a Law degree. Edward has performed at many prestigious venues, such as Ronnie
Scott’s Jazz Club, the Stables with Sir John Dankworth, Royal Festival Hall and regular performances in the House of Commons. | |
