I am a Musical Theatre performer, Singer, Repetiteur and Vocal Coach currently looking for representation. I have an all round passion for theatre and music and I have interests in all aspects of the industry. I have Musical Directing, Directing, performing and vocal experience as well as production and stage makeup. I classically trained as a soprano but have a formidable lower range and regularly sing alto and high belt vocal lines. I have a blues and gospel-like natural vocal quality, but can adapt to other genres such as pop, operetta, musical theatre and jazz when required. I believe myself to be a hard worker who strives for greatness in myself and others.

I have taken part in amateur productions in Oxford since I was 3 years old taking on lead roles from the age of 14 to 18 with Oxford Operatic Society and Musical Youth Company of Oxford. I took part in Live Nation/Ambassadors Theatre Group Stage Experience for 5 years, taking lead roles in their full scale musicals each year. I graduate in June/July 2012 with a BA Honours Degree in Musical Theatre at Blackpool School of Creative Arts. There I have played lead roles and chorus in a number of musicals and plays such as Spring Awakening, City of Angels, Company, Metamorphosis, Threepenny Opera, and most recently played Joanne in Rent the Musical at the Manchester Dancehouse Theatre in February 2012.

I received my Grade 8 Singing certificate at the age of 16 and since then I've continued to develop my technique in a wide range of genres such as musical theatre, rock, pop, jazz, and operetta. I have received a BA Honours Degree in Musical Theatre. At university I was the Student Vocal Coach and Repetiteur. I have performed at various venues in Blackpool and Oxford doing short cabaret slots. In November 2011, I won a singing competition "The Keller Factor" at Bierkeller on the Promenade, which was prestigiously judged. In the summer of 2011, I was the Assistant to the Musical Director for a production of Guys and Dolls with the Ambassadors Theatre Group at the New Theatre Oxford, and continue to be a Musical Director in my spare time. I have accompanied and Musically Directed numerous concerts at university and at private functions. I was Deputy Musical Director for 'Rent the Musical' in February 2012 at Manchester Dancehouse Theatre (as well as undertaking a lead role).
I have played the piano since I was 4 years old and in 2007 I achieved Grade 6 piano certificate. I discontinued formal exams to persue my passion for accompanying. However I continued to teach myself and have developed into a competent pianist and repetiteur. I have a decent sight reading ability and an ear for effectively accompanying myself and other singers in rehearsal and performance.
I have written songs in the past and I frequently arrange choir music, some of them used at university, with views for my own choir which I would like to set up one day. Ranging from 3 part to 6 part harmony, I believe in creating challenging and unexpected harmonies to create a serene sound for choirs. I used to teach the 1st and 2nd year degree students once a week for warm-ups and I used my arrangements and knowledgable experience of Jo Estill Techinque to enhance the students' confidence and vocal ability.
My next project is Musically Directing, Directing and Choreographing the Musical Youth Company of Oxford in their 25th anniversary concert. I have written and composed this piece entirely by myself.
