Gemma is an experienced alto singer with a voice that has been compared to the late singer Karen Carpenter. She has an extensive portfolio of performances from Solo Performances to working with professional musicians at various venues throughout the UK.

She has been working with talented songwriter/musician, Alan Johnson, who have put together two CD singles which have both reached the semi-finals in a major Songwriting Competition in London. Both singles are broadcast quality and have recently been played on radio stations throughout the UK.


Gemma and Alan are a live music duo called Gemma Class Act. They have raised over £600 for Lifeblood - Thrombosis Charity with the sale of their single, "Our Special Day (From Me To You)" which is a wedding song that can be heard at www.myspace.com/calmingsounds or http://soundcloud.com/gemmaandalan
