Acting experience
January 2007 -I believe I was one of 15 children, between the ages of 11 and 12, of which only 3 (including myself) were not from the London area, who were invited to attend the Sylvia Young Theatre School, London to audition for one scholarship place. This initially involved learning and reciting a set piece, performing a song of own choice and a follow up workshop at the studio
DRAMA
March 2006 - Successfully auditioned and got the lead role in a production called “Betty’s War” that was held at the Hull Truck Theatre
March 04/05/06 - Taken part in the Hull City Musical Festivals competing in Solo Mime; Drama; Verse; Prose and sight reading 1st Place
Commencing September 2001 to present date - Appeared in numerous Northern Theatre Productions at Wyke Sixth Form, Studio 2 and Middleton Hall
MUSICAL THEATRE
January 2007 - Auditioned for a part in "The King and I" - given the lead role of Anna
September 2006 - Auditioned for a part in the Northern Theatre musical theatre production of “Mary Poppins”, and given the role as Mary Poppins
September 2006 - Successfully auditioned and given a part in a musical production called “Carrots”, which the BBC held at the Hull New theatre, given the role of “Smiffy”
October 2005 - Successfully Auditioned for a part in the “Wizard of Oz”, and was chosen to be a Munckin, this was a very successful production by Northern Theatre Academy, the show was held at the Hull New Theatre
2001 to Present - I have appeared in all of the Northern Theatre Academy “Northern Explosion Shows” that have been held at the Hull New Theatre – with the opportunity to sing a solo piece
April 2004 - Successfully Auditioned for a part in ‘Annie’, and was one of 9 girls chosen as Orphans, it was a very successful production by Bridlington Amateur Operatic Society held at the Spa, Bridlington

February 2004 - Narrator and Acting part (Ruby) in a 10 Minute Film called “The Wall” - produced by University Students - Chris Webster/Jo White/Kerry Adams all students passed with Hon Degrees
December 2005 - Appeared on Look North – singing a Christmas song which the Northern Theatre Academy performed
November 2002 - Pop Idol the Rivals held a competition called Ring to sing - and my Photo appeared on TV with a recording of me singing

Music experience
SINGING
December 2006 - Sung solo at the Switching on of the Christmas Lights at Bridlington – in front of a large crowd – the star guest being “Chico” – this was also broadcast live on the “Yorkshire Wolds Radio station”
August 2006 - Winner of the East Coast Junior Search for a star
September 2006 - Finalist of the Hull’s Young vocals competition, winner of the heat and runner up in the final – singing with a live band
April 2006 - Successfully Auditioned for a chance to compete in “Stars of The future”, taking first place in both the heat and the semi final, and one of the runners up in the final
August 2006 - Invited to perform at the East Hull Carnival
August 2006 - Performed at the West Hull carnival; and also at the Hull & East Yorkshire NHS trust fun day, this was broadcast on the “Kingstown Radio station”
June 2006“WOW factor” finalist, Hull – which lead to myself and the other three finalists performing in our very own show
October 2003 - Regional Finalist for ASDA/Fox Kids Singing competition – which was for an opportunity to appear on TV
August 2004 - A top ten finalist in “Dream Idol” a children’s version of pop Idol, this was held in Leeds
July 2003 - Sung with the “City of Hulls Choir” held at the City Hall
