James Comfort completed Fashion Modeling coursework consisting of mostly runway modeling work. He also has experience with print modeling.

James Comfort has taken college-level theater and acting classes, and has appeared in a number of short films.

James Comfort majored music at college and has experience playing in various bands, including Jazz Band (piano), Concert Band/Orchestra (keyboard, tuba, and percussion), and Pep Band (sousaphone). His original work has been performed live, in capacities as band member and as solo artist. He has also spearheaded multiple collaborations, including small groups that mostly focused on original rock music, acting as both Manager and contributing musician, playing keyboards, providing bass, lead, rhythm, percussive, and vocal talents to the creative process both in and out of recording studio environments -- also working as an audio engineer and equipment manager on such projects. Some of his notable projects have included creating original scores.

James Comfort has worked on a number of video/film productions over the years. He completed Film Production studies at college and has worked as an Assistant Director and Production Assistant on numerous projects, including music videos and documentaries. Roles have included everything from pre- to post-production, including Director, Cinematographer, Camera Operator, Actor, and Editor. He has also lent his expertise as an editor/proofreader/reviewer of various length screenplays and abstracts.
