I've been singing for more then 10 years now.
My most important project was the D'emblè Acoustic Duo (http://www.myspace.com/d39emblacousticduo) with the outstanding guitarist Niccolò D'Ambrosio.
Togheter we have won the first Prize winners of the “On The Road Festival of Pelago (Florence) in 2005, bestowed on us by a panel of well-known persons in the world of music, of informations and communications: Louis Cabases (L’Unita’), Giovanni Ballerini (musice giornalist and writer for La Nazione), Eleonora Bagarotti (music giornalist and writer for Editori Riuniti), Valerio Corzani (Radio Rai, Il Manifesto), Piero Galletti (Rai International, the responsable for Notturno Italiano), “For the freshness of their street-sy blues, with a vocalist whose voice is full of personality and an accompaniment that at tracts becomes a pleasing protagonist.”
The D’Emble’ was active since November 2004, engaging an intense concert activity in the area of Bologna though frequently performing in other areas of Italy.
The music proposed was a very personalized reinterpretation of a varied repertorio which moves with agility among root blues, acid rock, jazz of the ’30’s, and experiments with playful passages over boundaries without limits.
With this project I've been playing all around Italy, having gigs and concerts and participating in some of the most prestigious festivals dedicated to street art and even more: Novara Street Festival, Veregra Street Festival, Estradarte, Bascherdeis, Eunaturelle Musique Sans Gas!, Castel Ranieri Folk Festival, Arezzo Play Art Festival, Montecchio Unplugged.
About us the giornalist Alessandro Besselva Averame of “Il Mucchio Selvaggio” writes “(....) the undersigned would like to single out (....) a bolognese duo, voice and guitar, whom I wish can climb to success: the D’Emble’ Acoustic Duo, an encounter between a blues voice a’ la Portishead and a guitar, wreckless and swinging between canonic blues and fingerpicking a’ la John Fahey, which left me with an excellent impression.
In the 2008 our rearranged versions of "Cold Shot"(Stevie Ray Vaughan) e di "Going to California" (Led Zeppelin) have been broadcasted by ..Radio 1 Rai the most important Italian radio during "Demo", a discovering -new- talent programm. After we have been hosted in the Saxa Rubra studios for a live interview plus concert.
In the December of the same year we played for the EJE European Jazz Expo, Sardinia. The EJE is an international festival that hosts the most important personalities of jazz and gives space to the new faces of the European jazz scene.
In 2009 and 2010 we played on the Rufus Thomas stage of Porretta Soul Festival. For the event we had been interviewed by Radio Emilia Romagna.
In 2010 we also played at the Roots and Blues festival.
Now that I moved in London I'm searching for experienced musicians/band to start a new exciting project.
