Looking for young actors for a gritty and powerful production dealing with urban crime and gang life
A vibrant, gritty and provocative drama from Edmonton's own 'Ghetto Youth Theatre', Shanktown2 is the story of Shane, a young woman torn between her gang loyalties, and a desire for the freedom of the wider world. Her crew, 'The Forgotten Soldier's', and their old rivals, 'The Shanktown Goon's', have called an uneasy truce, but a malicious outside influence is conspiring to bring them both down...
We are looking for young actors willing to give up a Thursday or Friday night once a week until the production on the 16th and 17th of Febuary 2010. This is a great opportunity to get involved with a vibrant and active youth group based in a leading North London theatre.
